Agency Listing By Services
HYSN member agencies provide a broad range of services. Following is a breakdown of selected
services that our member agencies provide.
Homeless youth are individuals who are 21 years old or younger, do not live in a safe environment with a relative, and have no
other safe alternative living arrangement.
Street youth are runaway youth or youth that are indefinitely or intermittently homeless, spending a significant amount of time
on the street or in other areas that increase their risk of sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, prostitution and/or drug abuse.

Services provided to youth and families to prevent "runaways," to prevent youth from being separated from families, and to
assist runaway youth to return to families, including services provided in residences of families, intensive individual and family counseling, and training

Outreach to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning youth; kids exiting commercial sexual exploitation and

for housing,, transitional living and healthcare; advocacy, education, prevention services relating to alcohol, drugs, sexual exploitation, sexually transmitted
diseases and physical and sexual assault:
